Second edition augmented with a fourth book and various political speeches S.l. s.n., 1646. In-12, [4] f., 466 p., green morocco, spine with 5 protruding ribs, author, title, edition and date gilt, triple cold fillet bordering the boxes and plates, gilt edges, interior lace [Capé] (stains on the plates, lightly rubbed corners, moderate russeting; first part only). Elzevirian edition; mark with sphere at title. Brunet (V, 1354-55) mentions two other parts containing the Political Discourses and a text on the assembly of Saumur, which are not found in this copy.
